About the author
Rahgir, born in Sikar district of Rajasthan, is an itinerant artist. His experience of roaming around the country, seeing and feeling the life-society closely is visible in his songs, poems and stories. Apart from Hindi songs written by Rahgir himself, he also sings folk songs in Rajasthani, Himachali, Punjabi etc. languages.
He has won the hearts of the whole country with his simple writing and singing. Songs like 'Phoolo ki laashon mein taazgi chahta hai', 'Tum pakad ke gadi mere gaon aaoge', 'Jahilon ka koi shahar nahi, kya Jaipur kya Delhi' and 'Kaisa kutta hai' are on the tongue of the people.
So far he has released three albums and more than 35 songs. This is his first collection of poems.
