The Supreme Yoga: Yoga Vasistha, compiled by Swami Venkatesananda, is a spiritual guide that elucidates the Vedanta philosophy in an extremely rational way.
Summary of the Book
The Supreme Yoga: Yoga Vasistha attempts to bring about a spiritual emerging in us through the enlightening Vedanta philosophy. It does so in lucid language that reverberates with the values of modern life, a life completely based on rationality and reasoning. Through this book, Swami Venkatesananda awakens us to the likelihood that they are inseparable measures of infinite consciousness. He does so in a meticulously rational way, by bridging the gap between the ordinary and the spiritual, the human and the divine. This book is an adaptation of the original work Yoga Vasistha written by Valmiki, written in order to be apt for the modern day life.
