Stillness Speaks is a practical and spiritually profound narrative by the renowned spiritual guru Eckhart Tolle.

Summary Of The Book

A composite of several spiritual traditions and knowledge condensed into a lucid and concise book, Stillness Speaks addresses the needs of the modern generation in their quest for contentment and inner peace.

The book is composed of several ideas, notions and thoughts that ran through the authors head, which he penned down in moments of clarity. He believes that the pressure and stress associated with the past and the present are the fundamental reasons behind aggravation and fear in majority of people’s lives. Stillness Speaks contains ten chapters, discussing topics like Beyond the Thinking Mind, Acceptance and Surrender, Suffering and the End of Suffering, Stillness & Silence and Relationships. The book teaches us how to create and nurture an all encompassing relationship, how to rid yourself of the baggage of guilt, and where and how to find true wisdom.

Motivational, implementable and profound, Stillness Speaks takes you on a path to greater self-awareness and understanding, a place where everywhere exists in the nowhere and where everything is found in nothing. The author emphasises on the importance of experiencing things, instead of analyzing them, for in the time you spend in analysis, the experience is lost forever. His teachings are written in clear-cut and short messages, and each chapter is a motley of separate entries amalgamated into one powerful text.
